The women at Lulu + Lo have been trained in multiple different hand tied extension methods. We custom color our clients’ hair and their extension hair creating a seamless blend. The hair extensions are placed in rows in the hair by creating a track. Wefts are then placed on the track and sewn in. The extensions are cut and blended to our clients’ hair to create a natural and beautiful look truly unlike any other extension brand or technique.
Do you use human hair?
Yes, we use 100% human hair.
How often do they need to be maintained?
On average, every 6-8 weeks.
How often do I have to get new hair?
We suggest every 6-10 months.

How do I know if I’m a good candidate for hand tied hair extensions?
For best results, our client has, at a minimum, shoulder length hair. Since our extensions are customizable, we suggest filling out a client application, where you will be asked to upload photos of your hair and provide more information about your desired look. From there, we can schedule a photo call and determine if you are a fit (fingers crossed you are!)
How much is the investment to experience NBR hair extensions?
We are committed to making sure you are a great candidate which is why we provide a free consultation, to better understand your needs and goals for achieving your dream hair. Most first time clients can expect to invest $1,000 to $2,000 (depending on the Lulu & Lo stylist), which includes hand tied hair extensions, color, cut and styling.

Yes! In fact, many clients report hand tied hair extensions is a great way to achieve that full, voluminous pony you’ve always coveted.

Yes, you are able to condition without the worry that it will loosen your extensions. We are happy to share the best product tips and tricks that ensure for healthy, beautiful, and long-lasting extensions.
Can I go swimming and do activities with my hand tied hair extensions?
Yes, you can swim and do activities with your hair extensions.
Tip: We suggest wearing it in a loose braid or ponytail, followed by brushing with a wet brush and leave-in conditioner when you get out of the water.
How often do I have to get new hair?
This depends on how well you care for your extensions, but as a general rule of thumb, we suggest getting new hair every 6-10 months.
Will hand tied hair extensions damage my hair?
There is always the possibility of damage because you are attaching something to your natural hair. That said, if the extensions are installed correctly and taken care of properly you shouldn’t experience any damage.
